K Camp held his 2nd annual CAMPSGiving event on Nov. 24, hosted by REVOLT exec Kenny Burns. The rapper’s foundation teamed up with the public as well as celebrity friends to have a evening of fun, music, and giving back. The general public earned free entry to the event with a simple donation of jackets, blankets, and canned goods for the less fortunate.

Being the season of giving, Atlanta’s Deb Atney was brought on stage to honor two mothers of slain teenage sons; The mothers of Nick Thomas and Kendrick Johnson were presented an award and shared some words to the crowd, the most important message was to “take this time to love one another and look out for one another.”

Before getting started with the performances, fashion organization and artists Burning Guitar opened up with a fashion show and performance. Known for styling artists such as Meek Mill and “Empire’s” Yazz the Greatest, the group showcased high fashion and street wear while delivering a performance to get the crowd pumped and anticipating the rest of the night.

Many artists came out to support the foundation, iclyding Pastor Troy,  TK-N-Cash, Rico Barrino, Colonel Loud, YFN Lucci and Skooly, and rap trio Migos. K Camp closed the evening with a dynamic performance of several of his hits, including  “Comfortable,” “Do It” and “One Hunnid..”

We look forward to what the rapper and his foundation bring to the city next year.
