1.) Tell us about The Pink Evolution. What are you trying to achieve through The Pink Evolution?

The Pink Evolution is designed for every mom who has ever lost herself in motherhood, you know forgot about the dreams she had before she had kids. Our goal is to help moms rediscover themselves and their dreams all while balancing life, motherhood and business. Every mom’s journey is different and every mom has a story and we want to empower them to go after their dreams while being a fabulous mother. My goal is to inspire others moms to get back to living their dreams and help them put the pieces together to make it happen. Through The Pink Evolution moms can check out the blog for inspirational everyday mom life. You can also follow our social media (@_pinkevolution on IG/Twitter) for amazing tips to help moms through rough times with their kids or in business. Additionally, we offer one on one coaching for moms who may need direct help with specific needs.

2.) What inspired you to start it?

My daughter is always my source of inspiration. She is truly why I keep going. I want to show her that no matter what you never stop, you never all circumstances or limitations to stop you. She is the reason I grind so hard, she is my why. She truly saved me when I was at a dark place in my life, her little being snapped me into reality and started helping me to pull myself together. But I would be remiss if I didn’t mention First Lady Ilka Murray. She came to speak at my church’s Women’s Day Brunch. She spoke this into existence. I originally started my entrepreneur journey with my nonprofit, Quintessential Beauties which is a mentoring program for middle school girls, but she spoke to me and said God called me to reach and teach women. It literally blow my mind because I had been going back and forth about taking that leap, and here I am! I said yes to God and so many doors have opened up. I’m grateful for her revelation and me being obedient to what was already inside of me.

3.) What inspired you to host The Mommy Masterclass? What can women expect to gain from attending this event?

When I started my mompreneur journey I had no idea how real the struggle is! (lol) I literally just thought okay I’ll start this business and life will run as usual, WRONG! I didn’t once think of how much extra I was putting on myself on top of the load I was already carrying. I work full time, I’m a single parent, I’m working on my ph.d, my daughter has extensive practices weekly and every other commitment I have. Needless to say, after my first month I was burnt out. I needed a break from everything. Then I started to think I know I’m not the only mom who feels like this, I know I’m not the only mom who struggles every day being mommy and mogul, but gets it done. So I had to create a platform to show other women that it’s okay and they can do it do. So the Mommy MasterClass is a workshop designed to empower and inspire moms to balance life, motherhood and business. Its a space for moms to come together and know that they aren’t the only ones struggling, they aren’t the only ones feeling guilty but they still have to find a way to get it done.

3.) What process did you use when choosing the keynote speakers for The Mommy Masterclass?

These are moms who I’ve watched grow on their journey to building their brands. They are able to deliver something unique to our audience. Our theme is rejuvenating the mind, body, spirit and finances and each speaker is an expert on those chosen areas. She is either full time mompreneur or in transition as she is working her 9-5 but making it happen.

4.) Lastly, what advice can you offer young women that are trying to juggle motherhood and their career while still maintaining a social life?

I would simply say you have to make time for you. Sometimes work can wait, somebody can watch the kids and mommy just needs a break. You have to make sure that as much time as you put into everything else such as your business and motherhood that you are taking care of yourself as well, because if mommy is no good she is no good anyone else.

I’m sure this is going to be an amaxing event for young mothers. If you are interested in attending the Mommy MasterClass and hearing from these amazing women you can purchase tickets at www.thepinkevolution.com which are only $35. You can also sign up for our email list to stay connected
