Tasha Smith Debuts Her Director Skills In New Film “When Love Kills” Starring Lance Gross, Lil Mama, and Tami Roman!

On Wednesday, August 8th, TV One hosted the premiere of When Love Kills: The Falicia Blakely Story, which was truly epic event! The entire cast, Niatia “Lil’ Mama” Kirkland, Lance Gross and Tami Roman along with director of the film, Tasha Smith were in the building as this outstanding film was shown. Over 400 guests gathered at the Regal Atlantic Station to view the film as Tasha made her directorial debut and the cast put on a phenomenal show. At the event their were appearances by Trina Braxton, Terri Vaughn, Demetria McKinney and many more.

When Love Kills: The Falicia Blakely Story is based on the true story of Falicia Blakely (Niatia “Lil’ Mama” Kirkland), a troubled teen in Atlanta, GA who became an erotic dancer and after falling for the “wrong” guy, Big Dino (Lance Gross) who was a pimp, and found herself in an entirely different world. The movie follows Falicia as she begins her journey down the path of destruction, as her mother (Tami Roman) watches from the sidelines. The movie is gripping and keeps the audience on their toes the entire films.
